A wonderful confection
Printing is quite paleolithic, and the chapter ring is uneven in the minute index against the applied markers. The double-crossed T is quaint for what seems to me to be a nice 2852.
Dial seems to be a Connie dial, but refinisher obviously was an adherent to the "more is more" philosophy and thus created two marques in one. Not altogether illogical, and could support the original owner's delusions of having a collection instead of one piece, like "I think I'll wear my Seamaster today" and "Time to give some wrist time to the Connie".
It's the kind of watch that should enable one to be able to dine out on for months! Frankly, I wouldn't change it.
Cheers
Desmond
