Can someone tell me what year this watch is from? Recently discovered it in a box from my late father in law.
It's a mk 1 case, so could be as early as 1968. The crown is not original- it appears to have been replaced at service with the smaller crown from the ladies model, which is not unusual. It may have had a refinish on the case, or it may have been lightly worn. Can you post more pictures from a few different angles?
