It has been a while since this one has been out of the vault. This one is the end result of a five year process, bring it from where it was, to where it is now. White gold filled, Canadian-made case, vitreous enamel dial, original hands. My guess is late 1920s?
Bulletproof Valjoux 72. Not sure if the bracelet is original, but looks identical in style . In any case, I love this thing.. works exceptionally well, I only wish I could find a replacement crystal.
+1 to burgundy strap - just works, somehow! 6853 from 1958. Dial just a bit, er, patinated but nice cal 23ZS inside.
Yes you have to appreciate these early enamel dialed watches...Especially with Longines on the dial. The case is 33-33.5mm excluding the crown. Cheers Russell.
