Grandad Olaf's 1905 17 jewel Longines..... doesn't fit the wrist so well, but still keeps good time!

From 1939; used to be my everyday watch until reset lever failed. Can't find one anywhere.It still keeps time though, so gets an outing now and then.

No, I think it is painted. I use the proverbial "retired Omega trained" watchmaker in London (who is an Italian!) who kindly says it could be original, however, I'm not certain.

I don't care if this is a re-dial, I'm really smitten with it. And, I'm not sure it's a re-dial.

the watch has a gold "spacer" on the case-back which makes the watch sit kind of high-ish on the wrist and shows of these lovely Calatrava style lugs. Pretty cool for what it is...
