Thank you for your email, I hope you’re fine.
Further to your request, we are pleased to provide the information contained in Longines' handwritten registers.
The original serial number 5’379’023 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel, fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 12.68Z. It was invoiced on 20 March 1937 to the company Baume, which was at that time our agent for the UK.
For your information, Longines did produced dials with the name of the retailer on their request, such as Harrods, Turler, Cuervo y Sobrinos, … The two last names are more common but Harrods is more rare (we only saw one watch with the name Harrods on it).
