What to wear today? These hard decisions in life...

 

Wear both of them...at the same time...left and right wrists. My uncle (a watchmaker/clockmaker/collector who is in his 80's) routinely shows up to family reunions/events sporting a pocket watch in each pocket as well as a wrist watch on each wrist...AND he usually has additional watches in his car.

He is! Uncle Jim is on the right and I'm on the left in the fairly recent pic below during a family wedding reception in Wisconsin. He introduced me to pocket watches when I was 8 (1972)...I would walk over to his house and wind designated watches in his collection...payment was in the form of loaning me a pocket "dollar watch" that I was allowed to wear to elementary school. He currently continues as a watchmaker/clockmaker/collector.
