I have had incredible success using buyee as well for the Japanese market only items but have also encountered some problems with customs when they refuse to export certain items and the package has been consolidated for shipping to the U.S. I had to eat s few hundred dollars on a tool and bracelet over a leather strap that was not listed properly. They dispose of the package at the warehouse if you select the wrong way to deliver. Other than that I love Buyee 馃ぃ

I love it. At the risk of being shamed, I find "DeVille" late Elvis cheesey, all of my mine are Seamaster pre-Devilles, most sport the coathook and crosshairs. I can proudly say that strange combinations from the late '50s float my boat. On the lookout for a nice tuxedo dial. This marker combo is super cool. I call dibs if you end up not being happy with it.

Serviced with new crystal and date window surround gifted by @X350 XJR (thank you, Norman!).

You're welcome, glad it worked!

Thanks for posting, definitely very similar with the added crosshair, looks nice. And it has a bracelet. I would say that I paid a bit of a premium for the dial compared to a vanilla SMDV.

There are also a few 166.009 Seamaster鈥檚 that have arrowhead markers. I have had two of them and this is my current one from 1963. They seem to be quite rare, always from Japan, and when one comes up for purchase they are usually picked up very quickly. A very pretty watch.

Funny, when you showed me that watch in a PM, I completely forgot that I had the OP watch with similar markers. This may be a bad sign about my memory, the size of the collection, or both. ::facepalm1::
