Hi, I think you can find a 145.022-69 for this price, you just have to be patient.

    Welcome along,

Not to be difficult, but if you have decided like the 1969, but feel it is out of your budget, what else have you looked at that you also like?

Would highly recommend you take a look at www.speedmaster101.com, and also get yourself a copy of the Moonwatch Only book - and then do a ton of reading and researching before you spend any money.

Also, remember that buying vintage watches is a marathon, not a sprint... so slow down. ;)

My favorite model from 1969 is Christy Turlington.... However, 7000euro might not be enough.

You should be able to find a 69 for that price. If not, a 71 with step dial should be next on the list, and failing that, a later 70's with flat dial.

At the minute I think the 80's CRS caseback Speedmasters are the best value. They are just about vintage, reasonably cheap and often have lively yellow plots.
