·Hello
I hope someone can help me.
This was my auntie's watch and I inherited it upon her death.
It has the original box, paperwork, leather strap and I believe from the inscription it was for working at the company for 21 years.
According to the paperwork it is movement number is 18138064 and is 9ct gold. I looked online and the movement number seems to date the watch to 1961. I don't want to open it because I do not want to scratch the case as the watch looks to be almost immaculate even though she wore it every day.
Does it have any kind of value - do I need to get it insured?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
