Hi from the land of OZ.tralia. I recently acquired an Omega Watch as a daily wear but the dial does not have a designation, like Seamaster or Constellarion, Just Omega Automatic Cal.552. 9ct case The dial has a bit of spotting and whilst sold to me as having been cleaned and serviced I would not go back to the guy that did this one. any way, sour grapes aside what is this modfel called please?

It’s just an Omega watch. Not all watches back in the day were part of a model line.
The reference number will be inside the caseback if it’s not a local production case.

if it’s not a local production case.
most likely as the OP described it to be of 9C gold which widely was used in Commonwealth countries

Probably a "Gents Omega Automatic" cased by Handley in Melbourne.

We will only know more when you have the caseback removed and get photos of the movement anf the inside of the caseback.
