hello. I found this omega watches, the store was closed but I was able to take a picture, I know it does not have a lot of quality. Tomorrow I’ll try to go there again. If im buying them what do I need to be careful with and how much do you think I should pay for them? Which is one or two, worth buying in this condition? (They are in an area where it says they may have issues, they are not working I would have find someone to fix them probably) thanks for all the help!

Hi,

they all look quite questionable in terms of quality...

How did you get the idea to buy one of them?

I simply saw while passing by and spotted the Omega logo, I don’t know how authentic they are, but one of them looks quite cool despite of it is real or not ahaha. But I would prefer to know their authenticity and model and if they are worth buying.

Even with the poor photos, it's possible to see that several of them have poorly repainted dials, and some of the dials have serious water damage. This doesn't look like a good place to buy watches, as they seem to have one bad example after another. I think you would be wasting money on these.

In my defence I had to crop the original picture to have a closer view of the watches ahahah but that wouldn’t be a bad idea honestly 😅

Thank you so much! That’s a great advice, I actually don’t know what I was looking at. So they are not a viable purchase at all?

In my opinion, no. They appear to be in very poor condition. Even if they are cheap, you are likely to need to spend additional money to repair them, and they will still be in poor condition. I don't know what kind of store this is, but it's not a good sign that they have so many poor examples on display. People with a lot of experience can sometimes find a hidden jewel at a thrift store or pawn shop, amongst the junk, but you really need to know what you are looking for.

It’s a jewellery store in my city, it’s quite hidden, and usually sells less expensive watches, they had this area where they are advertising used/ or with some problems watches and I spotted this ones. Didn’t know if they were the real deal that’s why I was curious! Thanks once again! If I can get to the store opened and if you don’t mind I can still send some more clear pictures. But I’ll take your advice and not buy them!

I also have this full picture of the window of the store if you want to take a look!

They look like original Omega 30T2 Family from the 40’s-50’s .
The first one is probably a ref.2900 and the third a 2503 . If you plan to buy one , Even if they are cheap , have a close look at the movements and the cases because it is not the dials that will make their value .

Thank you a lot! I was wondering about what model it could be! I went to the store today and they are priced at 630 euros, and 700 another one.

Even at half that price I would recommend saving your money for something better. I think you will not be happy with the condition of those watches.
