came across this and wanted the experts opinions on this on. Looks bizarre to me but what do I know. Takes years to accumulate knowledge

Crown is wrong, dial refinished but case is perfectly correct.

Hard to say exactly what it may have looked like as there were many different dials offered during this period. I have seen them with Roman numerals.
