·does anyone know the part number and/or dimensions of correct gold crown for a cosmic moonphase (2486-2 specifically)? Is there a good source for original crowns?

While a new crown may be available from a parts supplier. It will not be gold filled or gold capped as your original. It will be gold plated and not really match the warm finish of the gold case, but not much you can do unless you can find any Omega gold crown that fits.
Problem is. You need to have the crown and case together to test fit
Also be aware of Ebay sellers etc. selling NOS gold crowns. These are still modern gold plated crowns. Not sure when Omega stopped selling gold filled models, but no parts suppliers will have any gold filled in stock. Decades since they did
