    Hello,

I own a 1967 Omega Seamaster DeVille 166.020, but I am struggling to find period photos that show what buckle type is the correct one.

Is it the longer style (see first photo) or the shorter (see second photo).

Also, was the buckle inner width 14mm or 16mm? For the 2nd type I found both 14mm or 16mm versions.

A catalogue photo from the 1960s of a Seamaster show the 2nd type (http://www.old-omegas.com/pics/sea62en/p45.jpg), but another catalogue photo of a DeVille appears to show the 1st type (http://www.old-omegas.com/pics/cat64en/cover.jpg).

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Roger

Thanks! That is a good starting point. According to the article, various straps and buckles, sometimes not even Omega ones, were sold with Omega watches. So, I guess that means one has quite a few options today without not being authentic.
