What is the Auctions section of this forum?

I have sometimes clicked on the Auctions section on this forum, and seen a strange collection of Omegas that were apparently being sold. Where, when, by who I don't know. Is there a reason for this section? What am I missing?

created by mods, intent was/is to share w/forum members many of the active auctions (eBay and other sources) of "good specimens"... but fewer updates as of late...

Worked well when there was a few thousand members. At 50k + it would be a full time job. 😉

Perhaps the mods could open it up to the hoi polloi and it could be an interesting page again. Seems a shame to waste it

I agree- it would be nice, but fear it would become like the "report fakes" thread in the vintage section where it's supposed to be member posting known fakes but always gets people asking if something is fake- which is not the intention of that thread.

What is the Auctions section of this forum?
