I think so, I got stung by a new seller in S. America recently... Luckily, even though it was outside of eBay, paypal got me my money back after maybe 10 days... It was a bit of a sweat though...

At least I can now let go of my regret for having missed that original BIN listing

I wonder if it was the same first time poster who was announcing in Watches for Sale they'll be "getting rid of their '62 Seamaster on eBay tomorrow". Also gone now.

    Be careful out there! ;)

I hope Dennis is keeping out a good eye on the "FS" section and not playing too much Candy Crush!

No, been busy with real world things after the brouhaha this morning. A few good games of Candy Crush sound nice right about now though. Thanks for the suggestion!

I contacted the seller to see if I can inspect the watch in person and if he is up for a FTF deal - the answer was no.
I then asked for pictures of the movement and he told me he was concerned about opening the watch, so no pictures.
So basically, no way to verify if the seller has the watch in his possession.....:cautious:
