    Discoloration of dial is not that rare on these models. But this one shows a special face.

    - water Infiltration?
    - some kind of glue?

    Bananas do turn black if you don't eat them quickly enough :(

    Very common for this poppy model and the banana, it's water ingress and most examples I have had or seen have unfortunately suffered from this.

    I guess there's a reason to why you see so many of these with later replacement dials

    @ marturx - like the Patina!

    The Patina of my Banana has been to "heavy" for me - so I prefered to place a new dial. But not sure about it - maybe one day - there will be a come back.
