This one dates to 1984, and although the dial looks original to me, I’m a little concerned that the hands are factory replacements. I know that hands can age slower than the dial, but do they look too white to the trained eyes on this board? It’s priced at around 4k.

Are you sure it's from 84? Looks more like a mid 90's model to me.

The warranty card also says '95!

4K what?

Personally, I can’t see much advantage in buying a 90’s version with replaced hands for as much money as a brand new hesatite Speedy (grey market). The 1479 bracelet is a minor plus though.

The dial is nice-looking, but the watch would be more appealing if the hands matched the dial. If that doesn't bother you aesthetically, then go for it.
