Hi guys, I have someone wanting to sell this seamaster 300 ref 165.024. It looks to be in very good condition, and has earlier baton hands, which match the 23mil serial (I think?). Anything else that looks out of place? Also don't have a crown photo - but know what to look for in person. What do you think is a fair price? - or even what market value might be. And sorry for the blurry photos..... Thanks, Ed
Looks great to my eyes. Correct bezel for that serial and I believe baton hands also acceptable for a 23M.. I would guess 8-10 k usd. If you pass on it let me know
Nice looking SM300. I would request better pictures. I am no expert but is the caseback original to the watch. I thought the earlier casebacks had no step. Hope some more experienced members can chime in.
Well I now have it! I'll post up some better photos tomorrow in the morning light. After a couple extra hours of driving after work I'm stuffed. Night!
Some pics from today. Looks as though watch has been serviced a couple times in the past, and has a service crown(?) + running very well. Otherwise I'm very a happy enthusiast. It's actually only a couple thousand serials away from my other sm300 funnily enough!
