I ask your help and addice about this Connie. Is it everything ok? Is it in original conditions or is it has been polished? Thank you
Not too bad looking. The side(s) seems to have had some polish: I think it highly unlikely to have a watch this age, with this pristine side-pattern, if you like. Also, that 'pattern' doesn't follow the curve of the case. Not too bad, but if you want 'original'..... The rotor has a very different color compared to the rest of the cal. Not only that, it looks like a nasty yellow of some sorts...? Rest looks rather legit at first glance. So it all comes down to price Wait for the others to give their opinion. Mine for comparison of the side (including scratch) My 2 cnts
Your picture clearly explains what do you mean when you say that " 'pattern' doesn't follow the curve of the case ".
Why has the rotor a very different color (yellow?) compared to the rest of the calibre, in your opinion? Perhaps the washing machine and cleaning products? Thank you.
Might be. Might also be a rotor from another watch. In general, collectors do not like that a lot. my2cnts
Well they certainly exist , though not common . The crystal was offered as an added option or replacement by Omega in the 60's and early 70's, both in date and date+day option.
I agree that the case has probably seen a lapping machine sometime in the recent past, the lug thickness doesn't look uniform. The rotor definitely came from a different movement.
