What do we think of this Ranchero?

I haven't seen one like this before, but I believe that it's the civilian style dial as opposed to the broad arrow variety. Dial, hands, crystal and crown all look correct to me. The lume on the hands is shot and there is a small hairline scratch or crack on the left side of the dial. Ask is about $3,100 USD. Possible acquisition or run away?

Nothing wrong with the watch, but it is far too expensive. These so-called "dress" Rancheros are simply not in anything like the demand of the military style versions.
