What do we think of these?

I found these are a reasonable price (I think anyway) but I'm still learning on trying to identify polished watches and redials. The strap is not to my style on the second watch but I would change that anyway. Also, there was a chart where the first number, second number etc identify different things but they were in xxx.xxx format whereas these are different?

Both too old. Low price might be a clue. I believe these both to be obsolete, and the second one shows severe signs of the rotor dragging, resulting in the damage indicated by the arrows. Best to not buy someone else’s problems.

For the first one, there seems to be quite some damage to the dial, between 5-6 and around most of the markers... 440USD (incl. shipping) might sound cheap but I'd rather spend a little more on a better condition. Also, import tax come on top of that price, unless you live in Albania, I think.

I take it you've seen it on eBay? Haha. No, I'm UK based so tax and duties would apply unfortunately. I would rather get a decent one from the start rather than spend money to get it sorted

Exactly. 😀 I was intrigued at first glance, too, but it’s roughly a 20% import tax and I scrolled through quite a few of the watches the seller has on offer, there’s something that makes me feel uncomfortable (or uncertain at least) about most them.

I went through them too, they look nice at first glance, just not sure how comfortable I am buying internationally.

To me, it depends more on the seller than on her/his location. Especially within Europe (let's include the UK here for argument's sake), what's the big difference to buying nationally, apart from a ~5-10GBP premium for international shipping? And I'm sure you can find dodgy sellers pretty much anywhere in the world. This is not to say that this specific guy is one, but I'm not willing to put the money on the table to find out.

This is true For me, it's more the 'if it's not right having to return it internationally'.
