What do we think of the Sedna gold Seamaster?

I have the same dilemma. I think if I end up keeping mine I’ll suck it up and buy the Sedna bracelet. For me I’ll always be thinking I should have got the right bracelet to match the head.if I got steel only.

It is bloody expensive though.

I agree, I think the clasp on the bracelet is awesome, and I would love to have a bracelet. Just not sure about bang for the buck on the TT one, or if the SS would minimize the gold in the watch. I think the SS version is only $750. But I think the TT one is $3000.

A while time back I thought about getting this strap and deployant combo for a bit of variety, but like you say that micro adjust clasp is so good.

Like you I’m not sure bang per buck is very good for the two tone bracelet. I could buy a BB58 or the two tone bracelet. Difficult to turn down additional watches!

What do omega do with servicing if someone sends in a watch with product reference for rubber strap yet it arrives with the omega oem bracelet ? I would hope they would still refinish it as part of the service.

What strap do you have on your Seamaster? I have the black rubber, and aside from the nato/bracelet I don’t know of any others for this model!

That’s not my SMP, my Sedna SMP I have the blue rubber from omega. But that strap is a standard blue cordura from omega and the standard 18mm omega deployant.

there’s a blue and white stitching or blue and yellow stitching option available from omega. The yellow stitch I think is for the skyfall AT. Can’t remember what the white stitched version is for. But it looks good. I’ll see if I can find a link to the right part later if you need it.

That would be great. It might be a good alternative in hot weather!

In this case, I am pretty sure, they do the watch and the bracelet.

I’m from Canada and I just bought the TT seamaster with black rubber strap and now all I can think about is the TT bracelet. I know it isn’t worth the money but I have to have it. It’s $4835 here

Ah I didn't even know they did an all gold version. That would be too much for my taste. As far as I knew they do a two tone sedna gold blue and black version. It's the smaller links in the new flat bond bracelet that are gold, same stainless bracelet as the regular SMP.

The two tone on rubber is £4800 RRP, on bracelet £7200. Seems a huge price hike for not a lot of gold, but I did love it.

The full sedna gold variation of this model is pretty nice and affordable for what it is. Definitely try it on if you can it give it serious consideration if you're in the market for a full gold piece, it is on a rubber strap though.

My two-tone experiment on the original 300 ended with me selling it as I wasn't comfortable with people asking if it was gold or not, but quite honestly I miss the hell out of that watch, and still want another precious metal Omega in the collection. Just not sure which.

A recent non-Omega example of a sedna-ish gold watch is the new Breitling Premier B15 Duograph 42. I hate cut off numbers but this one is awesome.

Cut-off numerals are a deal-breaker for me. Lovely looking watch, though.

Recently I added this strap, makes it much more dressy. Still thinking about that TT bracelet though.

I have a love hate relationship with gold.
Although I like the looks of it I do not like the attention that it receives.
I wanted a two tone Rolex sub (bluesy) but I have talked my way out of it because I do not want something that is that flashy that is also that expensive.
I also do not like flashy items so I stay away from them. If I got an all gold/two tone sports watch I would probably get a less expensive model so that if I got mugged I would not have to worry about the watch or me fighting to keep it due to its cost.

Had a 2 tone, never reached for it over the steel version. Also, didn't wanna ding it up.
