    Hi All,

It's been a long while since I owned a Momo design watch. I had a couple actually, from way back when they were new(ish) and mega cheap.

It's come time to replace my G-shock as I'm getting bored of the hard to read negative display. So I thought I'd have a blast from the past and have ordered this one. Has a Ronda quartz movement. Pretty cheap, certainly cheaper than a new G-shock.

Anyone else on here rocking a Momo?

I've never heard of them before, but if I was looking for a non automatic watch I would be choosing a Citizen Promaster eco-drive.

I thought that, and another option I considered were also a used Citizen titanimum commando - but they were a fair bit more expensive sadly.

I'm in that nasty phase of scope creep now and thinking of cancelling to up the budget for a nice Seiko!

Another low cost option would be a Seiko 5, there's so much to choose from.

Thought about that as well. But my thoughts are that if it's going to e cheap I'd prefer quartz. Looking at maybe a Citizen Ecodrive Golf watch as well. Seems cheaper than the commando watch, left hand crown just for a bit of a change.

Bought one as a gift, diamond chips dial and bezel, interesting dial, 100m WR, SS bracelet with SEL, sapphire crystal, Ronda quartz, all are happy

Yeah that’s the one. They also do a nice line in scooter helmets as well. Very Italian.

Those seikos look good. But more than I was wanting to spend though.

Looks pretty awesome, I did wonder what on earth you'd been decorating to get freckle like that. Good job you cleared that up! Will also take a look at Luminox, I wonder if that leads of other tritium tube based daily wearers

Edit: Cancelled the Momo,I think seiko or Citizen is the way to go

200 to 400 GBP (although that Momo I found cheap at 80). I'd like to stay close to 200 though as if I get to 400 it's potentially Apple Watch territory and I'm trying to resist that route as far as I can.
