Does anyone know what these three letters mean. They are stamped on the link nearest the clasp on this 1171/1 bracelet. I am curious. Are they a date code? 20190314_222500[2165].jpg 20190314_222609.jpg

Resurrecting an old thread due to un-answered question. My bracelet has the code "JAJ" and curious as to what it means.

I suggest the code identifies the OEM manufacturer. You see those codes on straps as well.

The date code is on the clasp reporting month and year

Are you certain? I don't see any month/year codes on my Omega clasps (unless I'm not looking in the right place).

Not all bracelets were made by the same OEM. Those made in USA by Jacoby-Bender don't have date codes, necessarily. But if there is a date code, that's where it will be.

Ah, ok. I'll know to watch for that now.
