I might have missed it, but I didn't see the usual year's end thread reflecting on the watches people added or sold in 2025, or their plans for 2026. So I guess I'll try starting one.
Overall, 2025 was a year of consolidation for me - four watches left and two were added. My collection has a little less variety, but it also has less redundancy and each watch lends itself to wear in specific situations. This has simplified deciding which watch to wear for a particular day/event/occassion.
Here is what I had at the end of 2024:
Here is what I have now at the end of 2025:
(I've had the Citizen field watch since 2011, but failed to include it in last year's picture).
2026 is going to be a big year for me, including a birthday ending with a zero and finally finishing 10 years of medical school/residency/fellowship. I haven't decided what to get to celebrate, but the no date aluminum Seamaster, 1655 Explorer II, and a ceramic Daytona are all on the short list.
