This would be a great time to melt down that family heirloom.
Of course do with it what you will, but it is a sharp looking Omega. I'd get it running, and wear it, myself. It will always have some value from the gold content, but once it's gone, it's gone.
Obviously no one can tel you it’s history, that’s between the watch and its owners/your family.
It’s not a collectable model so the value will be the scrap value of the gold.

As an educated guess, I’d suggest there may be 12-15g of 18k gold there. That’s worth circa £600-750.
