Fillet steak, and home-made chips with samphire picked by me from the salt marsh two miles away. And something to wash it down with.

It's been a long time since I had a Stella so hard to say. I recall it being a lighter ale. Fat Tire is a medium amber ale.

From yesterday, the steak I timed, along with shrimp Mozambique, roasted cauliflower, and baked potato. One of my friends was celebrating his birthday and this was the request.

Fusilli pasta with and Chorizo sausage in tomato, garlic and red wine sauce.

And as I'm told, only cook with wine you're prepared to drink.

Tonight will be a salad I think...because last night we went to a local kitchen supply store that holds demonstration classes in making various things, and it was burger night last night. Started with a "quality" version of a Big Mac, so ground the steak right there, made the sauce (including homemade mayo), quickly picked some cucumber in dill brine, and made the milk buns. Had it medium and it was very tasty!

Second burger was ground turkey with the chef's home made kimchi mixed in to the patties, with home made mayo with cilantro mixed in, quickly pickled carrots as a topping, and a small side salad. I am not a huge cilantro fan (tastes like eating soap to me) but otherwise it was a very nice change.

After eating 2 burgers, I was pretty full, but I wasn't going to miss out on the last one - again freshly ground beef, blue cheese stuffed in the middle, pickled red onions, with a mustard sauce, and I can't recall the name but he roasted some sort of thinly sliced Italian style sausage for a little crunch, again on a milk bun...it was awesome...

This is also why I took half the afternoon off to go play tennis...now off to the showers...

Cheers, Al

Dang @Archer - that looks tasty and I'd have tried to eat it too even if I was already stuffed!

@STANDY - at first I thought you sprinkled the dry rub on the pizza and I had to re-read what you wrote. We put the seasoned yard bird on pizzas, salads, in pasta, pretty much in anything. Glad to see you are enjoying the dry rub.
