Second the 125. I love mine. Sure, it’s funky, but nostalgic for me as well.

I had 2 Grails... achieved both, then had to sell them after buying an old house to "do up", costs due to Covid (materials and labour) trebled, so bye bye to both.
First was 105.002-62 birth year watch (completely original and the other a 376.0822 Holy Grail.
When the house is finished I will try to get at least one of them again!

As for the Omega vintage grail, I found them last year. Now rebuilding my bank account is my grail. 20211121_115702.jpg

Actually, owning an Omega (a Genève 166.041) was a pretty great experience but, since exposure to OF, my horizons have broadened.

I was very keen to get a 166.010 and 165.003 and, now that I have them, find them too nice for daily use.

Found mine, already. Two of them, actually. My mid 1950s cal 355, date at 6, bumper automatic, and my circa 1910 Brandt (Omega), 19-jewel, 16-size, grade CCR, railroad standard in Canada.

Since I started this thread it seems appropriate to announce that I finally acquired my grail, a 1958 Ranchero, last month, and that I will sell it never. :)

You know I love that watch... so I'm just here to comment on the phone. You have an actual phone... with a cord! That deserves a vintage thread of its own.

@gbesq you might now be responsible for making the Ranchero *my* vintage grail...

Lol. Office only. No land line at home. But I confess that I am old enough to remember rotary dial phones, phones with fabric cords, party lines and actual enclosed public phone booths with glass doors that kept you out of the rain. And a local call was $.10.

You won’t regret buying one. Coolest watch on the planet. :) But geez it takes some work and patience to find a good one.

Now you're just showing off your great memory. I lived through those too, but had forgotten about them

Memories... me too. We were on a party line when I was a kid. Our town didn't get tone dialing as an option until after I graduated from HS. The best part - when you dialed a long distance number, an operator would pop on to ask you what number you were dialing from for billing. I was a hacker in the days of the acoustic coupler modem. :whistling:
