Probably a Tropical 2998 with a Lollipop hand. I’ve been lucky enough to see a few and they’ve been absolutely stunning in person.

    Omega 2872 is gorgeous!
The photo of @dsio's sample is the best I've seen.

Such a beautiful watch, the Constellation variant is out of this world too, have you ever handled either one? Me of course not, the closest I've been was whilst visiting the Omega museum where they had a number of cloisonne enamel pieces on display, although unfortunately neither a Seamaster nor Constellation. The ones I did see were gorgeous behind glass, I can only imagine how they must look and feel when on the wrist.

@watchyouwant is this one your ex? Also from my Bienne visit...

No have not. I did have a chance to buy the constellation version though when I was new to this hobby - about 10 years ago. Asking then was about $50k but I turned it down. One of the great misses for me.

i think that particular beauty has found a new home, not only in the Northern hemisphere but also north of Hadrian’s Wall.
so hopefully, after all this virus madness is over, we can put my near twin and that one together at a GTG.

Since I have zero chance of owning one, I will borrow a picture from speedmaster101 :)

There is only one Omega grail, the Centenary, the rest of you are just wrong.

Still learning here. What gives it away? The lack of a “T” with Swiss Made. Unswollen tritium lume?

This is what pilot cases are all about. The bee's knees.

My pilot cases to date. Just need the 166.091 to complete. A bugger to find one is unmolested condition though. Being in Singapore is not helping any:(. BER09775.JPG

I'd be interested in some type of pre-1980's seamaster, but nothing specific, I'd know it when I see it..
