Heavy handed polishing? Smooth bezel? Missing cyclops?

I've seen them without the cyclops, but not with a smooth bezel.

Quick googleFu shows some with smooth bezels - but normal to see turned bezels of some sort.

Typically, ref 6305 has a reeded/fluted bezel; if this bezel is original, it would more likely be found on a ref. 6304. So my guess is the bezel might be aftermarket.

I thought the hour markers looked unusual, too, but there's more than one 6305 for sale on chrono24 with these constellation-looking indices.
