Thanks my Canadian friend @Trev we now have a Swatch subforum set up and will be moving all of the MoonSwatch threads, as well as the Sistem51 and other Swatch topics to here.

Welcome everyone!

When can we expect the arrival of the Casio/G-Shock subforum? ::stirthepot::

Any available yet for a decent price?
I can wait for the masses of them to be put on the market but wouldn't mind trying one on.
I mean, I have a real moonswatch, which I wear a good bit so I'm not sure if a Swatch would see wrist time as much as the OG version but Lord knows I like to switch it up a bit.

I’m thinking of this as my wear to beach volleyball watch.

Sorry, no one over 10 years old is allowed to post in the Flik Flak subforum and you need the secret code.

No.

They are trading healthily (a sale every 30-45 minutes, in all 11 models)

And they’re trading at ~$800 for the few least desirable models, up to ~$1,900 for the most desirable model - [in both cases, before fees and taxes]

Your question may have been rhetorical, but I thought this little time capsule of pricing might be interesting in the future

As a source of mirth and great laughter, for sure. Swatch literally said on day one they would be available online and are not a limited edition... whoever is spending >$300 for one of these is someone I want to know whenever I'm selling anything. I have a used John Deer lawn tractor I could possibly part with for $30,000. Negotiable, but $20,000 is my floor. ::stirthepot::

Im hopeful that you’re right, but not so confident.

Swatch said they are not a “limited edition” - which as I remember it is exactly what was said of the NEW321, the newest Snoopy, etc. I think Swatch Group places some Important nuances within the concepts of “limited edition” vs limited production.

Also, while there was some early chatter about the watches being available online, Swatch’s official communications have never mentioned online, and for several days now have been seemingly careful to specify they will be available again in stores.

Again, I’m hopeful you’re right and that these will be more freely available.

But since Swatch is following the hype release playbook to the ‘t,’ that would typically suggest also that exclusivity will be maintained.

I understand a Swatch sub forum. But why the need for a Moonswatch sub form?

Could we not just call it Swatch sub forum?

Just my opinion, no offence intended. It is just a suggestion.

Probably to clarify that MoonSwatch content belongs in this subforum and not the others.

Bricks and mortar until the hype dies down since they know they don’t have a strategy to thwart bot purchases. Just a guess.
