Welcome to the dark side

After selling my Speedmaster racing (white dial) because it was too heavy, I didn’t know what I wanted. The new Panda Speedmaster is still too new (scarce) and the original never spoke to me.

What I like about this one is that it’s unlike any other watch I’ve owned……Never had a black watch or a fabric strap. Change is good.
Goodbye stainless steel. Goodbye alligator.

It’s so light, and because it’s ceramic, there is not a scratch on it, even though it’s 7 yrs old.

If you are considering one, go for it.

TLDR: I got a “new to me” DSOTM

I like that a lot. I acquired a Tudor Black Bay Ceramic last year - great case material that does indeed seem to be impervious to scratches and wears quite a bit lighter than its size. And the all black is, as you say, a great change of pace. Enjoy!
