Am I missing something? I mean sure $8k isn't a bargain on it for sure, but in a world where crappily printed Titus Calypsomatics are $8K watches I don't really feel that this one is that far out of line. Don't even Clebar Val.72 go for around $3-4K?

 

Unless I'm missing something as well,, there's nothing about this watch that deserves a conservative 400% premium over approx retail value.

Perhaps the seller Is looking to rope in a "low baller" @ 3 or 4 grand?

I realize all good condition v72's have done well price wise in this latest watch bull market.

But, keep in mind that 3 or 4 short years ago you could buy this watch by the handful for 7 or 800 bucks. Do you really think 1000% appreciation is reasonable for a common reference in such a short period of time?
