Frankly I have seen them before and find them to be a very cheap, tacky, and overpriced fashion watch. You've really got a $3 Miyota quartz movement inside about 2 cents worth of wood, the design is extremely basic, being a copy of a generic Seiko/Citizen style dive watch with no detail or effort put in whatsoever, and I'm saying that as someone that is related to wood boat builders who do put a lot of detail into their work.
The gimmick of offering to plant a tree on each sale is also a bit of a turnoff, the reality is that you can pay online through environmental groups to sponsor a tree planting, and its more in the order of $5. It just seems very much like a case of environmental opportunistic marketing with a cheaply made product which will no doubt be quickly discarded by the owner, sold with extremely high markup in order to make people who consider themselves "green" feel like they're doing the right thing, while We Wood line their pockets, and the description on their website re-enforces that idea really.
So as a watch enthusiast, I would have to recommend against these in the strongest possible sense, while as someone that does in fact care somewhat about the environment, and in particular honesty in advertising when it comes to purportedly green enterprises, I have to give We Wood watches two resounding thumbs down.
