Tudor discussion is always welcome in the Rolex forum! That one doesn't see a whole lot of action on OF anyway so I see no reason to split it out.
I was debating flipping a 79920r that I picked up in a trade but it keeps growing on me and now I want to keep it. I’ve seen some on shark mesh and that’s my next purchase. It’s the older ETA version that’s actually selling for the same price as new now 2+ years later which pleases me.
There’s nothing wrong with them, they’re just a particular size and shape on the wrist. They either fit or they don’t. I’ve tried heaps but just not quite right.
The vintage tudors are hot....really hot. The next to pop are the blue 79090's or the big blocks. Trust me. Get there while they are affordable. I was able to get a couple of flake no dates last year for the mid 4 digits.....no more baby. They are now in the high 4's low 5 digits. When you see what tudor has to offer and realize how few were produced in relation to rolex....you get it. Also helps when Tudor keeps killing it with their new stuff and drives interest to the vintage side.
Phoeeee this is a nice one! Nice faded bezel. Tudor shorely to go up in prices in the years to come as the modern Tudor watches are getting a bit more popular.
I do like them quite a lot! Too bad they are way out of my price range by now, should've bought them years ago but I was way too busy with omega back then. A friend of mine brought these two along once. Sorry had to snag the pics from my Insta feed, on mobile atm.
