I have no idea if it's a Jeanerette case and the serial number puts it at around 1938. I think I'll do a thread for this one as there seemed to be a bit of attention when I highlighted an identical case on the Ebay thread.

Reminds me of the Zenith 12-4 cal from the 30s and this one from the Zenith/Universal 1936 catalogue

 

Will wear this tomorrow also. Pulled this out of the box on this fall like day. No danger of going near water! The month said “January” I’ve not worn this since then.
