Mr C-B were these test drives or did you drive something off the lot? Looks like a brilliant day in any event. I WILL have a rose gold Zeitwerk one day....

I like modern watches, but it seems I end up with vintage on my wrist. With over 50 vintage watches in my collection I have plenty of nice choices. Someday when I'm elderly and I've sold off my vintage collection maybe modern watches will appeal to me more ? Their cost for example a Lange now seems way out of my league !

We had a fairly intense 3 days in Glashütte and were able to get tours with Nomos, Moritz Grossman, Lange and GO together with a trip to the Wempe observatory and the town museum. The group was mostly TZ-UK oriented but there were a couple of illustrious members from here (you know who you are!).

The white gold Ab/Auf was the one for me and I’ll admit to some sweaty arithmetic around whether a fire sale would cover it but I’m afraid that I left with a Lange biography and a couple of other nice things only.

I should point out that the Seiko charity watch was just a photo opportunity and I actually wore a Uni-Compax on Friday.

That is the smaller 32-33 mm one, or the over 34 mm size ?

It's not new and I definitely brought it to the first GTG - but then there were one or two watches on the table. It has a UG calibre 54 which is basically the Bulova 2185 - and yes, it's a GMT.
