It was only last Friday when I said it's an easy decision when you only have one UG. It just got slightly tougher.
Compur is back from the spa and is running great. It was pretty much useless as a time keeper before.
Gorgeous - I’m relatively new to the OF, and didn’t realize until seeing this pic today how similar yours is to the steel 22258 I posted a couple weeks ago. Almost siblings! Enjoy, and keep posting pics!
Yes, thanks. Our watches indeed share the same reference number, but production date is separated by a few years. Your example is particularly pristine. Bravo! And yes, I'll keep wearing and posting pix. I enjoy seeing the variety of others watches posted. It's Great to get my "watch fix" here at the UG sub-forum and elsewhere on OF, on what is now pretty much a daily basis.
Ooohhh. Art Deco Friday. Love those Raymond Loewy-esque numbers. lovely. The selected strap rocks with that watch, too.
Call me old-fashioned but I didn't fancy taking a Polerouter to Libya. This gets me thinking - maybe I need a 90s two-tone monstrosity that would be safe* to bring on trips like this. *not so much safe. more like I wouldn't give two hoots if it was taken off me.
A day late but I wore it yesterday too. Cal. 332, rose gold. Probably paid far too much for it but couldn't resist the unusual dial and faceted lugs.
A bit late, but a 1938, 'Talisman' model designed for Hermès... I'm sure Florent was bidding against me !
