Watchmaker near Frankfurt - broken Quartz

Hello together,

sadly a vintage Quartz watch I recently purchased here has stopped working without apparent reason. Does anyone know a good watchmaker close to Frankfurt to give the watch to?
Or would you immediately send it to Omega?

Thanks in advance for the tips.

A few photos would help getting a response. Someone will then be able to assess if your watch is worth repairing. Good luck.

Is this a new chapter of the "Guessing Game " ? You could sketch the front and take a picture from your sketch. Or maybe take a picture and show us ? Or do nothing and ride into the Sun Set ....

How close to Frankfurt?

I know a really good watch maker in UK, only 580 miles from Frankfurt.
Switzerland is closer to Frankfurt though?

Oh, and Amazon have batteries and they deliver.

I can offer a train and bus ride to offset the energy utilized with quartz watches.

….I will raise you a bike ride, might take me a while to get to Frankfurt. Leave the watch on the doorstep and I will sort it.

Seriously, this might be quicker than sending it to omega?

Damn a bike ride. Easily done from Frankfurt to my watchmaker
No e-bikes though

Not sure why this is such a ridiculous question, but I guess I'll find out the more experienced I get with vintage Omega watches.
The watch is a Seamaster Pie Pan with stepped dial.
Attached you can find a picture. It's in great condition, NOS-like, so I will have it repaired for sure.

I guess close to Frankfurt would mean around an hour drive for me. But I have to admit I have no clue how far/close I should expect the next suitable watchmaker for a watch like this. So it depends.

Plagemann in Bad Orb should fit the bill.

Gorge Clarkson in Berlin is good with quartz - you may have to send to him.
