I figured this could be a thread for funky/ugly/interesting/expensive watches we just tried on but for whatever reason don't intend to buy. I'll start.

My brother is a gaudy guy. Always says he'd wear a Hublot Big Bang if he got the money. So I figured I'd mess with him and take some wristshots at the Hublot flagship on 5th with the craziest two watches I could find. Truth is the sapphire one had some appeal. Darth Vader didn't. (profile shot just to give a sense of what they look like on a 6.5 inch chicken-wrist)

 

Ha ha those are classic. I have never a hubolt in the wild. I guess if I had crazy money I’d throw one in the old watch box to mix and match but it definitely would not be a go to. They do make me smile

 

people buy these? in what city can i see these out and about?

 

How the hell do you tell the time on either watch. I have to say though, from an engineering POV they are great artefacts
