Beware. I have my fire suit on! 😉

I tried the early Bond version. An amazing watch but….i don’t get the HEV. I simply can’t, couldn’t and won’t. Omega has its version of the Rolex cyclops. I simply don’t understand. How amazing (at least for me) would all the iterations of the modern Seamaster be with that damn « mole »?

I just looked up that watch on the TAGHeuer website. Those things are $138,000? WTF?

Since it happened this way,the price tag has to be a footnote,or a joke to be precise.😎

I read the company is being sued. After looking at this watch, a potential customer had a nervous breakdown, and now they are on the hook for a lifetime supply of sedatives.

Always hoping there’ll be some kind of changing hands of the brand, gaining opportunities to make the name great again, like it ever gonna happens.

I am not a fan, but at least the cyclops serves a purpose. I was just talking to a professional diver today who owns a dive watch, but never wears it diving. She sometimes wears 3 devices that have a timing feature, but never a watch. She wears a wrist computer, a computer on her gauge console, and a heads up display on a diving mask. Her dive watch may go for a swim, but never a deep dive involving trimix (the breathing gas which includes helium).

Agreed. I don’t mind the cyclops but what I wanted to say was that the cyclops creates a certain aversion to some as the Omega HEV does to others including myself.

But...where do you store your detonators without the HEV??

Anything with teardrop lugs... 🥱

Oh, and 99% of modern Omega watches, especially wavy dial Seamasters. Ugly, cheap looking and those hollow hands are just stupid and unnecessary ::stirthepot::

That Vacheron is achingly beautiful
If I weren’t already married, I’d be popping the question to my Zenith

Yeah,the watch seems okay.
Is the stylist or the photographer okay?📖

For the watch, use a smooth bezel for Guilloche’s sake.
Apparently that longest hand and 3 numerals find themselves are nowhere near sumptuous yet.

'Watches others love…that cause you to scratch your head' Yes probably about 80-90% of all new luxury watches. Especially the likes of Richard Mille, Jacob & Co. Etc.

Pretty sure I've seen pictures of Ed Sheeran wearing one while playing a gig (that might prove your point?)
