Rose gold watch and yellow gold band. Looks like
I’m in the minority in that I mainly wear gold watches.

I just wanted to ask—has anyone found a good solution for avoiding scratches between metal watch bracelets and wedding bands? I end up switching my ring to the other hand when wearing heavier watches, but it’s not ideal. Curious what others have tried or if anyone just accepts the wear and tear.

I wear my band on my right hand since my watch and wedding ring kept rubbing together and it bugged me. Needed a fix that didn't involve ditching either.

My wife and I never got wedding rings. Didn't get her an engagement ring either. She doesn't want one. So, my watches don't have to match anything that I'm aware of. Although, I'm probably violating some unwritten fashion laws.

I don't see how a wedding band on your finger would interfere with a watch bracelet on your wrist. They could only come in contact when you put on/take off the watch, but that's never a problem.

Wondering the same as @Evitzee

If my ring on my finger touches my watch on my wrist, I have far more pressing problems than a scratch

when we were getting our rings made the store told me they could frost or hairline a face of the ring. Now we had already chosen a twisted design in platinum, so I think people here can understand why I was quite excited to choose brushed finish on the twisted section...

I wasn't wearing my speedy that day so my wife didn't realise why I was so keen for brushed till after the finished rings came in.

I went with a brushed titanium ring to match the finish of my Speedmaster—it’s super light and comfy, and doesn’t scratch too bad. Finding something that doesn’t clash with your daily watch makes a difference. I came across some cool mens wedding bands that had a mix of metals and finishes, so it felt less cookie-cutter and more like something I'd actually want to wear every day.

I picked a simple band I liked and later adjusted my watch choices around it. Matching is fun, but I wouldn’t stress it—your ring should feel right first.

I’ve picked up a couple of rings from Aydins before, and their shipping was quick and the lifetime sizing saved me once. If you're browsing wedding bands for women, their mix of tungsten, titanium, and wood inlays is pretty fun, and the sustainable materials are a nice touch. The TAKE20 code stacked with the free 2‑day shipping made the price a lot easier on my wallet.

The orientation is wrong, but this was a challenge to compose. My 60 year old Gruen day-date, and one of my two diamond rings. We’ve been married just short of 60 years, and I do have a wedding band. Last time I wore it was at our 50th anniversary soirée in 2016. This ring is 18-karat yellow gold, set with 5 baguette diamonds of VS clarity, and F colour, totalling one carat of weight. It replaced my wedding ring on my left hand, 40 years ago. She who must be obeyed is okay with it.

Getting married is meant to limit your options.

So don’t do it.
No longer single,
No longer free,
Never again a bachelor be,
All these days of wine and roses,
All these things,
Marriage forecloses.

Silver, because the one from the dollar store in Vegas made my finger green.

I wear more stainless steel that matches my white gold wedding band nicely, but I have been finding myself wearing more gold watches recently so may have to pick up a gold wedding band as well.
