And now for something not-so-perfect…I’ve attempted to match my green mil spec socks [and my green mil spec NOMEX flight jacket] with my new Omega mil green polyester NATO…!!!NO JOY!!!…all three greens are different…clashy/clashy/clashy! 😲
LATE ENTRY: This is a complete disaster and I may get banned from OF!
ANOTHER LATE ENTRY: On a positive note, the watch matches my mil spec flight boots, motorcycle license plate frame, and motorcycle tires! So…maybe I won’t get banned from OF!

··London sunburst dial fanWhen I started working in the 60s/70s, some of us wilder and more expressive (indeed flamboyant) suit wearers could buy and wear socks with ‘clocks’, a discreet pattern on the side of the calf - to enhance the grey, black or navy that we otherwise wore.
