This may be a very short and niche thread, with apologies to those members who consider socks an aberration in Summer.

However, I put some socks on this morning and thought they were a great match for my 176.007!

Has anyone else inadvertently found good matches between watch and sock? Or wishes to share their killer watch and sock combos? Or have I finally just lost the plot?!

I always wear socks. No flip flops or sandals for this guy, ever. A quick check for some interesting ones in my drawer reveals bulldogs and foxes.

And one pair that I wore during the occasional bike patrol.

And my wife got me this pair that I have not used yet.

As for matching them to my watch, hum? I never tried.

The only exciting things in my sock drawer are various watches - nestling amidst a load of unpatterned blue, black and burgundy socks. Still at least I have alliterative colour choices 🙁

Don’t arrest me, @Duracuir1, but I own one pair of flip flops for around the house. They’re fancy, however, as I bought them at the John Varvatos flagship store in NYC. 😜

As for socks to match watches (and pretty much anything else), Unsimply Stitched, an online shop out of Los Angeles, has everything to coordinate Air-Kings to Zodiacs.

Socks for work only…. Flip flops in Northern Australia.

Last trip to Europe it was enjoyable to wear pants and jeans, jumpers/pullovers and shoes and socks.
Last work trip to the San Diego I had my entire shoe collection. Pair of work boots, a pair of RM Williams boots and a pair of runners…

Moved to the Northern Territory from Sydney and had probably 10-15 pairs of shoes

I hid 2 watches for years in pairs of rolled up socks. Both were Rolex. May seem a silly thing but I am one to not keep eggs in one basket.. Non-matching BTW.

Strong game, but the watch and socks don’t really match… then again a Speedy goes with anything…
