I know of Shane Ede and Al but are there any other watch repairers in SW Ontario Canada that have good reputations?
European Time in Oakville. Ingo has done a lot of work for me and I've always been satisfied with the work and the price.
for me so far: Seiko SKX, 18 & 16 size American railway watches (lots), Omega 30mm and 601. Longines 12.68z, Tudor caliber 59, Elgin 539. and he's put a battery in my quartz thingy. I've seen a good amount of nice Rolex going through his shop as well so there isn't much I wouldn't trust him with. He got his watchmakers papers many moons ago in Germany if thats worth anything (which I think it is) He's also rebuilt a marine lever clock for me and I've seen a few marine chronometers in his shop. I know he does chronographs but I don't have that stuff so I've no experience with him in that area.
Tried Ingo with a couple of watches this week. His prices couldn't be any cheaper and he Is a pleasant guy. That said he is a little rough around the edges.
