Haha I’ll admit to ranting, if you admit to selling out.

The overall experience with a company isn’t just the end when they make you feel all good inside. It’s the beginning as well, where you were mighty pissed off and worried. An honest review includes the problem they created as well as the solution they provided.

You are absolutely right- Looking back, deleting it and telling of the whole customer journey would’ve been a more honest an complete review. I didn’t really think the “group” was that interested in this... but I get it. Why doesn't a Sr group member just call them and get a quote, to answer the “curiosity” about them?

This thread is confusing. I realized that one could edit a post, but I didn't realize they could be entirely removed. It's hard to even follow the sequence of what happened here. @WYO_Watch quotes @BrandonEsse in the fourth post, but there is no post from @BrandonEsse prior to that. Who started this thread? @BrandonEsse? Or did he chime in afterwards?

He posted two posts I believe. After shishy’s post.

Now I see that there is a DELETE option, I've just never used it.

I would address this reply to the OP, but I can’t figure out who it is 😝
Anyhow, I think this needs a ‘Delete Thread’ button

OP was @MikiJ asking about the watch company. @BrandonEsse created an account on OF to write about his poor experience. Summarized below:

Sent an expensive watch got a check and couldn’t cash it. He thought it was fake because no one would accept it. He sent two more watches because he needs $ to start a business and the company said they both had issues and didn’t give him a quote right away.

I wished him luck with the watches and his business 👍 he apparently got some and consequently deleted the bad reviews.

Quite frankly, nothing to see here. I’m happy for him and glad to hear the company treated him well in the end. I just think erasing the initial issues he had is a bit misleading.. and not helpful for other members who may run into similar issues.

Just did a quick search of reviews of this firm. Found one site called ShopperApproved.com which shows a total of 1,046 reviews (97.8% are 5 stars, 2.2% 4 stars) for Watchpayer.com. What's the old saying, oh yeah, "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is". This company may be as honest as the day is long but with performance that good they should be well known as a place to liquidate watches yet I've never seen their name before. Has anybody?

Nothing to see here? Eh, there is a lot to see here.
