I'm new to this forum and have read through a lot of your posts. So I thought you guys could help me identify a watch. My girlfriends grandfather gave me this watch the other day. He knows I'm into Omegas and had this one lying around. As far as I can see, it looks like a Seamaster 600, but the numbers on the face looks like a Geneva. It's a 601 movement and from the serial, it looks like it's from around 68. The backplate also has a 135.011 stamp. It's pretty banged up and in need of new crystal, also it looks like someone painted the numbers and hands at some point. Would a restoration be worth it?
Well the model number is 135.011 or 135.0011 https://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-details/15134/ As for going price on these what does eBay say they are worth?
Yeah, I did think that 135.011 was the model. I also found this one that is similar, but stainless http://www.ursiden.dk/index.php?id=... order by uid desc&queryLimit=0&details=18297 so it looks like it's a Seamaster 600 Geneve.
