Hi all, Thanks for reading this post. Just looking for help in identifying my grandfather's watch. Unfortunately I have no relevant details to pass on, it was given to me as is, and aside from the obvious Omega on the dial there are no other distinguishing characteristics on it of any kind. So first, is it authentic? And if so, what model it? I was googling around and it seemed most similar to some De Villes I saw, but it doesn't actually say De Ville on the dial, and there are also no individual minute markers. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Quick answer. It's a genuine Omega with a harshly cleaned dial. For a full assessment, please read: https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/ You will need the assistance of a competent watchmaker to remove the bezel/crystal/movement to take pics of the interior.
