Just a curiosity, asking anyone that has some database on omega watch hands hole sizes.

I recall from Ranffts database, he had a whole encyclopedia of information on all types of movements including hole sizes for watch hands. I also recall that there was some movements where his information was slightly inaccurate (don't recall which ones) which is why I am not so sure if the information I have is correct for what I am seeking

The information I have for Omega caliber 552 watch hand hole sizes are 1.50 x 0.80 x 0.18mm
and for Omega caliber 360 watch hand hole sizes are 1.50 x 0.80 mm. This cal.360 may or may not have had a seconds hand for it not being mentioned but it isn't important to my enquiry.
Can anyone confirm if the 1.50 x 0.80mm are common to both?
many thanks in advance

Yes, that is the most common sized hand set. Fits many calibers from 360 through 610. My charts do not go above that. I know from experience the 563/565 family is based on the same 550 base. There are some 7xx what these fit as well.

The charts give the tolerances as 1.49-1.50 and 0.79-0.80. Nipple length is 0.70 and 0,30 respectively. The hand lengths themselves vary.

330 through 355 have different hole sizes. 1.41-1.42 and 0.74-0.75.

Ranfft is more likely to miss calibers like Omega 570 or Venus 206. You are correct in double checking the data.

Thanks for your input and confirmation!!! Some sellers incorrectly list hands for different calibers especially when they try to sell the 1010 caliber hands to fit the 550 and the 490. If the hands opening is too tight like the seconds hand, you can easily damage the tip of the seconds pinion like I have and you then have to dismantle and replace the pinion if you are lucky to find one!!!
